The GeoMap Field with Proximity/Radius Search and the Basic GeoMap Field 4.1.5 are available for download. This is a maintenance update which fixes a few bugs.
The SobiPro SP-GeoMap field extends the types of possible fields for SobiPro to include a field type for indicating the location of an entry on a geographic map. When editing an entry, it creates coordinates based on the geolocation of the author's current IP address or the address entered. The entry then receives a map with a marker at its location in the detail view.
In addition to the normal radius search, the SP-GeoMap field with Proximity/Radius search also gives you the option of performing a proximity search to find entries near a specific location. The proximity search is a RADIUS SEARCH without the RESTRICTION to a radius. With this improved usability, selecting an entry can be done instantly without changing the radius and searching again if the results don't match the idea.
