We modified the module mod_fetchrss, originally written/modified by Benoit Chesneau/Matthias Ebner.
With this module the SOBI2 RSS feeds can be shown on the site like a normal module. Using the standard Joomla! module for RSS, all links will be opened in a new window. With mod_fetchrss all links can be opened in the same window.
Additionally we implemented a title shortener.
You can see this module working on Joomla! Specialists. All modules are SOBI2 RSS feeds using mod_fetchrss.
