Ryan, it's not your fault. This forum is broken......or perhaps set to be especially annoying for non-subscribers....

My live site is SP v1.1.13. PHP is 5.6. Joomla is 3.7.4, which is current.

I am running a test site where I updated SP core to the current version (1.3.7 I think) and PHP 7 but all my apps are out of date so there's no telling if anything is working properly or not yet. I haven't had time to work on it more.

Hi Steve,

Could you tell me the Joomla/SobiPro/PHP version you are using?

I have the myJoom Radius Search installed, with GeoMap field 3.3 on Joomla 3.7.3 and SobiPro 1.3.7 on PHP 5.6 and I cannot get it to autocomplete the address like on your site.

I am wondering if myJoom is not compatible with theses versions of Joomla or SobiPro.

I know the developer is very busy so it may not happen right away. He is a good guy, but he has a day job too....

I agree on the Sigsiu support.....if you have a subscription. That team is great!

@Ryan Duff, I have been asking for this solution for a long time. Radek is of the mindset that a business directory will never be used to find only local businesses, therefore, has no interest in adding this functionality.

My thought is just the opposite: why would anyone ever care about a business 500 miles away? If you're traveling someplace and want to find something in THAT area you will search in that area. No need for a single search to return 1000 entries, most of which are irrelevant to what you are looking for.

I have had multiple conversations about this to no avail....

I use a 3rd party extension for this functionality:

It works well, but I hate having to go 3rd party for something that to anyone else in the world seems like a no-brainer to be built into a business directory core. You can see mine in action here:

Is there a way to limit the number of a search results for a GeoMap search to 10?

Or can I limit the display radius to 500 miles?

I don't need to list an entry 4,000 miles away from the search location.
