Update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent version before reporting a problem!

We are continously improving SobiPro and its applications, fixing bugs and making working with them more easy. Still we see that some users report problems for older versions. Mostly they are already fixed. If you are using older versions, please update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent versions!

I've solved the 2 problems in the last 2 threads on my own. Here's a new one with the same site. I moved the site from the testing server to it's live server. Everything works as it should except in SobiPro. The Directory page renders as it should but when a visitor clicks on any of the categories they receive a 404 page. Similarly if a visitor uses the search box on the main directory page and searches for an existing entry, when they click on that entry on the search results page they will also get the same 404 page.

What could possibly have changed by moving the site from the test server to the live server so that this is the only problem that exists?

That's even worse and causes also the same problem.

Apparently when moving a site with SobiPro, you need to reinstall the component (even if its the same version).

Yes, this is mentioned on the SobiPro download page. It is not a SobiPro problem but a problem with the software creating the backup not correcting the Procedures.

Attention!
Please note that SobiPro uses MySQL Stored Procedures which most hosting providers offer.
As Akeeba Backup does not support MySQL Stored Procedures, they are not correctly set-up if you backup a site with SobiPro 2. To recreate SobiPro's stored procedure 'SPGetRelationsPath' after restoring the backup, you need to update SobiPro, even if you are already using the most recent version of SobiPro.

I solved this one myself as well. Apparently when moving a site with SobiPro, you need to reinstall the component (even if its the same version). This is because there is something being written to the database that conflicts with the new url. I found this in a thread from 2017!!

I have cleared the cache several times (Section -> Section Configuration -> General Configuration -> Clean Cache) and it has no effect.
